Europeans continue to show the rest of the world that they have more respect for nature than most capitalist countries. The Chinese and French capitalists wanted to build a giant mall outside of Paris, in one of the few remaining natural areas near Paris.

The President of France has rejected the plan, which would cost €3 Billion. The plan by the French supermarket chain Auchan and the Chinese group Dalian Wanda involved building a shopping and leisure space on the outskirts of Paris.

The planned "Europa City" was supposed to open to the public in 2027 and it would include a circus and an indoor ski area.

A group of environmentalists forced the Government to give up on the plan, stating that it would destroy one of the few large natural areas next to Paris.

Emmanuel Macron said:

"It was an outdated project, out of sync with our citizens’ aspirations. It stopped matching the way people consume today and tomorrow."

The capitalists were furious because money is always more important than the planet Earth, in their twisted, greedy heads.

Shopping malls are a tough sell all over the world. It is very risky money to put in these days.

They work well in Europe.
