Ok, fornthe next in my series of Great British Foods I give you Cullen Skink, which is mostly a Scottish recipe and which Ive had many times on my trips to Scotland and trust me, its bloody delicious!
In the words of Spruce eats which is a great British cooking blog I follow.....
Traditional Scottish Cullen Skink is also known as Smoked Haddock Chowder, an easy to make, hearty and filling soup making it a meal in itself.

How does it taste like @gentmartin? Can you compare it to another dish?
It would be interesting trying to make a vegan version of it, with soy milk and some sort of smoked vegetable or smoked meat substitute!
Its difficult to compare. Its a very thick and hearty soup and the smoked haddock gives it a very strong fishy taste. Its very filling due to its thickness

that fish is only caught in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean
and its also what we normally use for traditional fish and chips :-)
