I don't know if you ever had a "real job", but that's what it's like. Every week on Thursday you go to your account and see that it is fatter than last week. It's a good feeling. You should try it!

I know the drill, having been an independent contractor all my life. It's a license to steal; for your employer that is. No taxes, no workman's compensation, no health insurance, no dental, no vision, no term life, no concierge, not even a Xmas card, no nothing.
UBI is not about living large. $1300 a month? You might consider scaling down a bit. Who is cleaning your toilet and scraping the baseboards? Unless you get pleasure in these pursuits, you might consider simplifying your life and living within your means.

Yes, the concept seems to be gaining strength. (was going to say Steam). The social justice and economic justice crowd are delighted no doubt. I'm pretty wary of the idea, but my vote on the subject is less than .01. In the meantime some will always be more equal than others. Thank God.
Tax is theft unless used for the common good like national defense. Taxes should not be used for benevolent gifting by the government.

Well, I do not see this feasible, because the world, unfortunately, not only revolves around the technology and its AI; and trying to control all these variables is not an easy task: socialist-communists, politicians in general, corrupt, crazy governing nations, environmentalists, defenders of human rights, wars, terrorism ... put all these variables in the same algorithm that allows bring UBI suitable to everyone, I do not see it.
