Lucio Aquilina & Massimo Di Lena - an exotic duo strongly influenced by foreign lands and cultures located thousands of kilometers in every direction from your room. Their first EP from 2014 called Nu Guinea - Nu Guinea released on Early Sounds Recordings earned a lot of attention and helped to gain the reputation of the community. After their debut, guys moved from their hometown Naples to Berlin where they had more possibilities to grow and define their sounds. Playing with synthesizers, hanging around with other artists and participating in the project called Ten Cities, aimed to a musical correspondence between Europe and Africa, absorbed most of their time and crystallize style. Approximately after one year Tartelet Records, a legendary institution known from discovering and promoting lesser-known talented artists (for example Max Graef), proudly announced Nu Guinea - World EP.

Recently in 2018 duo showed to the world their second LP called Nuova Napoli released by their own label NG Records. Album is a combination of various music styles related to dance-floor music in its purest sense where distinct and original sounds are floating from foggy and blurry nu-disco to the sharp etno-styles passing though folk and classic bands from 80's. We can also hear a lot of acoustic instruments like saxophone, guitar or drums played by local artists from Naples. As a proof of quality we can admit that in the first half year after premiere, LP was already repressed three times and played by many respected DJ's like Palms Trax.
