Become Your Healthy Best

in #diet7 years ago

There is so much misinformation and confusion around what we should be eating, from diets and labels to the big organic debate my blog will give you all the tools, tips and hacks you need to optimize your health food intake in a simple to implement way. 56% of people today continue to eat out for most of their meals while the rest eat out of boxes. 80% of people who claim to eat healthily and do grocery shopping still spend a large portion of their income on dead/convenience foods. The best way to know if your eating the best food for you is to experiment for yourself and observe how you feel when you eat different ways. Food allergies can flare up upwards of three days after eating it so watch for patterns and keep that in mind. Some people find a food journal a useful tool, simply track everything you eat, plus the time and location, be mindful of your feelings and track for 30 days regardless of if you mess up. I will happily send you a food journal template when you leave me a message on my website elemetalgrowth.org

Most food products are cleverly-marketed as “gluten-free,” “sugar-free,” or “reduced salt” and we are burdened by labels, advertisements and sale signs. It can be downright confusing when it comes to what to buy (or not to buy) and how to be as Eco-thrifty as possible, we collectively already know we deserve better quality and we should be treating the planet better. So many people think short term about food purchases and how they fit better into the budget instead of how that item might affect our quality of life, our food is our health insurance policy it can be both medicine or poison depending on the individual. My chosen career is teaching you how to find what works for you as an individual, optimize your shopping habits, eat an abundance of high-vibe foods and even save you money.

Cost is a major influence when it comes to purchasing decisions. Many people think that it is expensive to eat ‘healthy’. Organic can also be seen as another way of differentiating the classes. An educated, well off couple is more likely to be eating at whole foods then the single mom or low income family. I am going to teach you how to know whats right for you, whoever you are. I would also like to add that synthetic pesticides, bio-engineered genes, extraneous antibodies and growth hormones should be labeled on all food, cancer-causing pesticides should be removed from agriculture and everyone working towards permaculture or other sustainable farming models should be subsidized so we can all enjoy the abundance of high quality food nature offers from the source.

Adopting a more open mind when it comes to shopping can lead to new recipes and healthier habits, just as planning meals ahead will help you focus on your food needs and avoid wasting food which is also better for your wallet. Though visualization is a useful tool that I do encourage you to practice, it takes action alongside the thought of natural nutrient-rich food to be and feel your healthy best. Over time, I will help familiarize you with ingredients and what they mean; you’ll be able to make a decision on whether it’s the best option for you and your family. Find out where your food came from and how it was made—it will open your eyes.
