The trend of building APIs to command humans.
I somehow have chills in the back when I'm reading this sentence. I don't understand why however, because this is actually pretty cool: humans doing tasks for other humans under the supervision of a computer program. Or it isn't?
Here is a beautiful example of API supervising humans in Bangalore. Here is one of the many eat.fit's kitchen in Bangalore:
Essentially eat.fit cater ready-made meals in the healthy / fitness category. And what you see in the picture is a horde of delivery persons with their bikes, waiting for their parcels.
What's interesting is the intersection of APIs in-play as there are many different delivery apps waiting. I recognised three of them and the eat.fit delivery crew is a fourth one.
These shots were taken before lunch while walking from the coffee shop to Kund, one of our favourite lunch place in Indiranagar.
There we ordered fresh lime soda plain and chicken thalis.
