NBA DFS - Injuries and Opportunities
From time to time, I want to write a short blog about my ventures in DFS. I have been actively playing since 2011, and have been lucky enough to attend a couple of larger nationwide tournaments.
Today, there is a wealth of information available to people of all skill sets, so setting yourself apart, is becoming more difficult, and some argue that the sharks, who can put in 20-30K per day, are the only ones who can make money.
I know it was a lot easier 5 years ago, when all the information needed to value players, were a lot harder to come by.
I now have a toddler, family- and work commitments, so that I do not have a lot of time to do research, but I still try and utilize the same resources that I have in a long time.
Hopefully writing about the process, will help me become better at DFS and consistently profitable (O:
Todays lineup on Fantasydraft:
Houston - Chris Paul will most likely sit out tonight, so Harden's minutes and usage will spike. Eric Gordon is another beneficiary, having been a PG in a previous life. Clint Capela is also worth a look, as DET have been atrocious against Centers this year. No one has the upside of Harden though.
Lakers - Randle, Lonzo and Kuzma are all in play, and I am actually playing all three together on Fanduel. Lonzo and Randle both have some of the best individual match ups, and in a high scoring game, they can both be counted on to produce.
Charlotte - Another technical for Howard last night, means that Hernangomez will start and should play around 30 minutes. He is priced near the minimum everywhere, and is a slam dunk for salary relief/production, at that price. Kemba will also see an uptick in usage and is an excellent option. Finally we have Jeremy Lamb, who is still starting, as Batum is still out with injuries.
Good luck tonight and lets make it rain!
