python-for-android and kivy - cross platform python app framework

I remember reading about this some years ago, but as I was falling down the Python rabbithole, I ran into it again but specifically the ancillary program that builds the apk for running it on android.

After remembering all this suddenly my eyes are lighting up... I can bundle piston, bitmessage, a bittorrent client, and build the database and controller with an xml-rpc interface for the interface. It can be an easily distributed binary, run on windows, mac, linux, ios and android...

Does anyone have any experience wih Kivy? https://kivy.org/#download I am looking into it now, anyway.
