The best present or is it the most beloved present?
Are we talking about a Christmas present or a gift?
They come in all kinds of sizes and shapes and are loved and in many cases hated. Why?
Because the one who gives it to us does not know us for real or does not follow the wishing list. Santa seems to be a terrible reader if it comes to reading wishing lists. Or perhaps he just loves to waste his money on presents you do not like and will sell as soon as possible? Or the elves are too stupid to make and wrap the right present?
Bad gifts, unwanted gifts are painful.
It takes time to know someone.
My children know me, even without a list I get what I like, can use or get nothing. I prefer nothing far above things I do not like. It is better for them to safe their money and pour me a cup of tea and give me some me-time as give me something I do not like.
My youngest know me the best. The eldest for some reason not at all. The eldest is the one buying stuff we do not like and never gives us what we need.
We do not give Christmas gifts.
We do not see the reason to do so and it does not make our day better.
- To me the best and most beloved gift is a free day off starting after a good night rest.
- My most wanted gift is a sleep cure but I guess I will never receive one.
- My most beloved present is home alone.
Perhaps I drop a letter in Santa's mailbox...

Sprechen wir über ein Weihnachtsgeschenk oder ein Geschenk?
Sie kommen in allen möglichen Größen und Formen vor und werden geliebt und in vielen Fällen gehasst. Warum?
Weil derjenige, der es uns gibt, uns nicht wirklich kennt oder der Wunschliste nicht folgt. Der Weihnachtsmann scheint ein schrecklicher Leser zu sein, wenn es darum geht, Wunschzettel zu lesen. Oder verschwendet er sein Geld einfach gerne für Geschenke, die Sie nicht mögen und die Sie so schnell wie möglich verkaufen werden? Oder sind die Elfen zu dumm, um das richtige Geschenk zu machen und zu verpacken?
Schlechte Geschenke, unerwünschte Geschenke sind schmerzhaft.
Es braucht Zeit, jemanden zu kennen.
Meine Kinder kennen mich, auch ohne eine Liste bekomme ich was ich mag, kann nichts gebrauchen oder bekommen. Ich bevorzuge nichts weiter als Dinge, die ich nicht mag. Es ist besser für sie, ihr Geld zu sparen und mir eine Tasse Tee einzuschenken und mir etwas Zeit zu geben, um mir etwas zu geben, das ich nicht mag.
Meine Jüngsten kennen mich am besten. Der Älteste aus irgendeinem Grund überhaupt nicht. Der Älteste ist derjenige, der Dinge kauft, die wir nicht mögen und die uns nie das geben, was wir brauchen.
Wir teilen keine Weihnachtsgeschenke aus.
Wir sehen keinen Grund dafür und es macht unseren Tag nicht besser.
- Mein bestes und geliebtes Geschenk ist ein freier Tag, der nach einer guten Nachtruhe beginnt.
- Mein meist gewünschte Geschenk ist eine Schlafkur, aber ich schätze, ich were das nie bekommen.
- Mein geliebtestes Geschenk ist allein zu Hause.
Vielleicht besorge ich einen Brief in Santas Postfach... Oder soll ich das Christkind fragen?

Creo que Santa lee bien, así como los elfos hacen bien su trabajo. El problema aparece cuando van a repartir los regalos; Los envuelven todos muy parecidos y se confunden al momento de la entrega y recibimos muy probablemente lo que otro necesita. Al menos, existe la delicadeza de entregar los regalos, sea el mejor de los regalos o el más querido.
Si tenemos todo, no hay necesidad de dar regalos. La paz, la armonía, el tiempo, la atención y el sueño suficiente son más preciados. Los elfos pueden dejar de envolver regalos. Días felices. 💕

Me gustan los regalos, pero mucho más me encanta regalar. Sobre todo regalo plantas. A personas que se, le gustan también.

@gertu Los regalos son agradables si obtienes lo que te gusta. Si no le gusta o lo necesita, es una pérdida de dinero. No me gusta el consumo excesivo y comprar para comprar. No soy adicta a las compras.

En mi país se hace una tradición en esta época. Se intercambian regalos con familiares o amigos. En realidad lo importante es el momento del compartir.

We would ask each other what do we want before buying and usually gifts are not a surprise.
It is better to get something that the other person wants.
If it is a surprise, we would give money in a packet. The surprise would be the amount :D
@marblely That is how we do it too. Money makes a good gift too. Only one daughter does not like it the rest prefers it and chocolate is good too.
