How to build a temple of granite - So wird ein Tempel aus Granit gebaut
The sculptures are cut out of massive pieces of stone by hand. No casting or machine production. Over many weeks and months, the temple becomes laborious and physically very strenuous for the workers, who have been doing the same craft for several generations.
Aus massiven Steinbrocken werden die Skulpturen hier von Hand heraus geschnitten. Kein Guss oder maschinelle Herstellung. Über viele Wochen und Monate wird der Tempel von den Arbeitern, die über mehrere Generationen schon das gleiche Handwerk machen, mühsam und körperlich sehr anstrengend.

haha eure Tochter als Baumeisterin macht sich gut...
das sieht echt nach Knochenarbeit mit viel Staub an. Es ist wahnsinnig was diese Leute imstande sind zu arbeiten und was daraus für Kunstwerke enstehen, unglaublich imposant. Das suchst du vergebens irgendwo in dieser Form in Europa.
