RE: The unconditional basic income, sense or nonsense? | Das bedingungslose Grundeinkommen, Sinn oder Unsinn ?

in #deutsch5 years ago

Hello the.libertarian. I am for the unconditional basic income and that for every human being. Everyone should be able to do what he wants without having to pay attention to the money. I am against, that the authorities deciding, whether you to get something or not. And I am also against, that humans being forced to work. Some people have different goals, want to do something at home, posting at steemit or something artistic or something else and then the money may not be enough. That's bullshit if the money is not enough. For me freedom, life and survival, a roof over my head and love among people are very important.

Sort:

But someone has to work for the money you get for free you understand ? Money, Water and Food don't grow on trees sadly...

If you force a working person to feed you, the working person stops to work as well and this goes on and on till to the point the economy completely collapses.

If that were unconditional basic income for all, then you could finance it because you could close some authorities, because then no unemployment benefits, no social assistance, no housing subsidy, no advance on maintenance, no alimony, no BAFÖG, no Hartz IV, no childbenefit ... would be and the above funds would not have to be paid. It would be much easier then, the unconditional basic income would then simply transferred to the account without administrative procedures. If companies or wealthy people, who destroy the environment through their work or leisure behavior, nuclear power plants ... you could also finance this through an eco tax.
We would need less police because crime would go down. People would also be healthier and accident rates would fall rapidly.
I do not think the economy would collapse completely. Many people certainly want more money, but they certainly do not see fit to do so with the existing working conditions. Thus employers would offer the workers proper working conditions. With decent working conditions I mean for example, about 4 hours or an agreement on how it works best with each other. The employee is therefore also entitled to speak and to arrange it in a way that matches his life. Believe me, if some do not work for a pittance and on top of that would have to do arduous and burdensome work, such as for example the care sector and when you would have good conditions and you could coordinate this with your life, you would like to earn more. After all, work should not make you sick and time must be allowed, too.

I think I know what you mean and it's a nice Idea. But to get the basic income you still have to force someone to work for that income. the second point is that the humans always seek for a path of less resistance that means if a human see "Oh I get free stuff there" then it will stop working like anyone else because the "real" working people are forced to pay for the basic income trough tax and the will think too "Why should I work when others work for me". You know what I mean ? This easy case is the reason why a forced basic income wouldn't work and only capitalism with free people and no federal regulations will work for all. Without the governments you can be a millionaire with jobs like a nurse, housecleaner, streetworker... with much better working conditions. The only problem today is Socialism with it's big state and parasitic bureaucracy...
