RE: Grundlagen des Absolutismus - Teil1
Very useful timelines you detail here! Now you clarify it for us it makes so much sense that commensurate to rational thinking (and diminished devotion) a new kind of attribution of power had to emerge. It is very interesting to see how time and again power divorced from a larger, cosmic perspective leads to decadent self-aggrandisment.
I was thinking about how power constructs fail to stimulate individual morality, today, and this historical background information is just what I needed. As you say: history forever repeats itself, but try seeing that when you are in the making of it.
Extremely restorative to stumble across somebody who can write a proper, consolidated essay accessible to all, but satisfying to read and let refresh one's thoughts.
Thank you!
"... try seeing that when you are in the making of it." - I would say, that is the challenge :)
