Hausrotschwanz ■ Black redstart

Phoenicurus ochruros

Ein typischer Gartenbewohner ist der Hausrotschwanz. Der Vogel sucht gerne die Nähe des Menschen und kann deshalb oft in Gärten angetroffen werden. Die von mir gezeigten Aufnahmen, wurden allerdings in einer Kiesgrube fotografiert. Dort habe ich den Vogel immer wieder an den gleichen Stellen beobachtet. Um diese Bilder zu fotografieren, habe ich mich ganz ohne Tarnung an einem Felsen auf die Lauer gelegt und bin dort verharrt, bis der kleine quirlige Vogel aufgetaucht ist. Er kam immer wieder zu den gleichen Steinen geflogen und wir beide hatten uns im Blick. Mein Vorteil war, dass ich hatte ein 400 mm Teleobjektiv dabei hatte. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass es sich bei dem Vogel um ein Weibchen handelte, das in der Nähe zwischen den Felsen sein Nest gebaut hat. Das Männchen konnte ich leider nur beobachten. Es ist immer auf Distanz geblieben und kam nicht nahe genug für eine Aufnahme heran.

A typical garden dweller is the black redstart. The bird likes to be close to humans and can therefore often be found in gardens. The pictures I showed were taken in a gravel pit. There I observed the bird again and again in the same places. To take these pictures, I lay in wait on a rock without camouflage and stayed there until the little bird appeared. It kept flying to the same rocks and we both had our eyes on each other. My advantage was that I had a 400 mm telephoto lens with me. I am pretty sure that the bird is a female that has built its nest near the rocks. Unfortunately, I could only observe the male. It always stayed at a distance and didn't come close enough for a picture.
