RE: WOW: Meine ersten selbstgemachte Falafelbällchen! / My first selfmade Falafel! (deutsch/english)

You're amazing to do this.. so cool!
SO you really really must not cook the chick peas! That way they get really crispy! Then also next time i will specify how much herbs to put in cups rather than bunches as not all bunches are the same size!.. You could have used maybe 5 times more greens! Then the falafels go really green..

They look nice n tasty though!
thanks so much for posting this.. VERy interesting to see how it turned out for you!

so how do you get ground the chick peas? And then, is it healthy to eat raw chick peas? About the onion: i knew it might be to much, but took it anyway.
The thing is, that the mixture was very dry, also at the end, i don´t think they have been to wet. It´s just they didn´t get a form to keep. After fry they still where soft, as before.
But ok, perhaps it´s really about the chick peas.

If you read the recipe it does say that you blend the chickpeas after 8 hours soaking.. .. Also dont over grind them it shouldnt be a powder but more course..

They arent raw as you soaked them and then fried them so they are well cooked by the time you have fried them...

it IS all about preparing the chickpeas (not cooking!) and grinding well.. Do you not have a blender?

oh o. k. somehow i missed the blending part. Now I get it. Not me, as i am a pilgrim, but my family has a huge house. I will find a blender. I am staying there, until i am meant to leave again.
