Indes zeigen Auswertungen von Coincierge.de auf Grundlage von Google-Trend-Daten, dass die Nachfrage nach Bitcoin vom 8. auf den 9. März explosiv anstieg. An diesem Tag erreichte der Score, der das relative Suchvolumen beziffert, den Höchstwert des Jahres 2020. Das Interesse für den Krypto Markt scheint vorhanden zu sein – und auch von fundamentaler Seite spricht im Zuge der Corona-Krise einiges für die Nutzung von digitalen Währungen.
So empfahl die Weltgesundheitsorganisation, dass kontaktlose Bezahlvorgänge ein Mittel seien, um sich vor der Infektion zu schützen. Noch scheinen Kryptowährungen allerdings keine Nutznießer der jüngsten Entwicklung zu sein, wenngleich selbiges auch für zahlreiche weitere Assets zutrifft.
