It's Better Than You Think!

Something I've really learned throughout this short back injury is the value of staying active.

Even when you injure yourself, it may be a good idea to get moving around as much as you can.

Now, rest is still very important and if you're unsure, then it's best to consult a professional before you hurt yourself.

But I've grown pretty comfortable with this back pain.

Comfortable enough that I made it to the gym today and had a pretty good lifting session.

It's easy to forget how good it feels to be active and pump some blood into those dusty muscles after laying around in bed for several days.

I was so happy to be back in the gym. Now I'm already pretty sore. I'm sure this is doing some great work for my body though!

I'm sure that I'll be back to 100% soon enough and then, my training is going to make me go above and beyond even that condition.

No more back injuries for me.

I'm gonna start doing a lot of things differently.

For one, I'm gonna stop sitting so much in front of the computer.

Number 2, I'm gonna go to yoga several times a week. Hasn't really been my thing before, but I think it's worth a shot!

It also just sounds like a fun way to get out and about rather than sit here and work all day!

What are your recommended activities for someone like me?
