Kaizer: Entry for Design a character contest (Color Challenge)

Hello everyone Im really sorry that i havent post much recently. So for today for the first time, Ill be joining an art contest in Steemit which is held by @w0olf. So the theme would be creating character from these colour scheme. Ill be using My SAI software and also a bit from photoshop.
When I first see this colour scheme i have no idea on what im going to create. Like literally. To be honest Im not really good with choosing colour scheme. The colour does give me a feel of cold and a bit of fear. So I decided that I will be creating a monster for this time XD.
When it comes to design a monster, I would usually look back to pokemon, digimon or yugioh character fro my reference. I am more comfortable in creating simple character for my overall design. And after a few minutes I came out with this sketch :D
Yeah im pretty satisfied with the design for now, it does have the personality on what I had in mind.
For the hand is a reference from megaman, X.
Then I tested out the colour scheme into my character roughly, and yeah it works pretty well from my ciew at least :D.
In the line art process, I decided to use the thin line art for this character. I also make sure I add some detail in the design. Then just paint it over again just like how I planed before.
For this time im not going to use smudge tool or water for my work. Instead im only going to use the brush tool for my shading. In the second picture, I use 2 different layers for in multiply and luminosity to add more depth in my work and shiny effect. Also I purposely made the eye look cute like that XD. Why ? because why not XD.. haha Jk i just want to give some charm in my monster thats all
I find the monster look really plain on it design for now, so i decided to add some pattern on its body, just like those rune effect on some monster design.And finally finish it up with simple background :D. I usually did not name my original character, but for this one i guess I will call him Kaizer XD. Thats it from me thanks for reading my drawing process.

Could totally see this as techno, parasite like character in a game. Awesome concept, @shuazir!
thanks @hanbun and yeah these techno, monster, and alien(parasyte) is really one of my favourite theme when it comes to drawing XD
