My contribution for Design a Character Challenge: Moth Mother

Hi guys! I came across this contest yesterday and plan on making a few submissions (I hope).

She and her son are running from something, they both have powers that others want control of for nefarious purposes. I think she may be from the same place that the character I made a few nights ago is from, but how or if they are related or know each other remains to be developed!
Here are a few process shots. This is a digital media piece, but mainly hand drawn and smudged.
This one is done in Tony DiTerlizzi style, specifically it reminds me of his work for Magic The Gathering cards.
