Garage Converted to Man-cave

We were called in to help convert a garage into a man-cave. As you can tell by the hideous green colored wall, a face-lift was sorely needed - unless he enjoyed the mockery of his buddies on gameday. As is the case with most garages, it's a pretty easy job. Access is great as you can back the truck right up to the project and it's more protected from the weather than a fully exterior job. We don't usually use a planetary grinder for small jobs like this but hey, not complaining; it's a fun piece of equipment to run!

The colors certainly aren't what I would have chosen, but hey, the customer is always right! I would love to know what it looks like nowadays, after painting those disgusting walls and moving the pool table back in. I'm sure it's great. Maybe I'll have a chance to see it again when and if we go back for another project. She was interested in a concrete wood basement. You can see my last concrete wood project here.

This particular system resembles the look of granite or terrazzo, but unlike the epoxy flake systems that are very popular in garages, our system uses our unique liquid rubber waterproofing material. With permanent flexibility, ease of use, UV resistance and radon elimination, it's no wonder the GraniFlex system is an award winner!
