Finally, our office finance team decided to have a team lunch party. The party, which is due since long happened in one of the local restaurant near to Office. After much thought, we have finalised to go out to “Desi Vibes” one the Indian restaurant serving Indian and Mughlai cuisine.

As the name suggest, the restaurant is designed and recreated in a way to give a true atmosphere of our Desi (traditional) culture to the customer. Well, such type of restaurants does exists in big cities, as business theme to attract customers to get ethnic and traditional feel in Cities.

So, we have reached the schedule place before lunch time, although I missed to click the outer picture due to blazing sun, however, I managed to take the welcome shot of the restaurant waiters who were welcoming us at the entrance with a fitted Indian "band-gala kurta Pyjama" attire .

We were directed towards a joint table of 10 people, and served with Lemonade water. A true contemporary Indian culture, to offer some drinks to guest whosoever visit your place. The table is quite empty, till that time, as we still to choose from the menu book. Although the table is kept clean with some copper base glasses and plates, Indian traditional crockery style.

I have taken my seat on the table, and just opposite to me, the old set of 6 Puppets were hanging with the yellow wall, which catches my eye, I am quite excited to see the puppets as it was part of Indian old entertainment show and I am seeing it after many years.

Just above us, the dim lights were decorated with Bangles garlands all around, giving another touch of Indian tradition. As bangles have been a part of Women Shringar (makeup).

I look around, and started to feel like in a village, with the mostly wall looks like mud, covered with cow dungs, and hushes all around. The interior is recreated like a contemporary rural india .

As I have been to such houses since childhood, I quietly started to feel like home and enjoying the splendour interior set up which is almost like Rural home. During all the time we keep chit chat and some office talks with all the team member.

In the meantime, the waiter started to bring the food to our table, First of all they served Water , and then one of the waiter comes up with a Basket of Pickles. the basket have all the variety of Pickles, :"Chillies" "Mango" "Lemon", "Tamarind" and "Sweet & Sour". Looking so Delicious that made me to take the shots. I have chosen to taste the Sweet & Sour from the basket.

With few of us have chosen Veg North Indian cuisine and opted for Malai Kofta, Kadhai Paneer and Butter Naan from the menu. The food were served and kept in front of us.

The food is quite good in taste, and eating in such ethnic place add to other level of enjoyment. We have finished our lunch on time,....Wait!!...how come Indian meals ends without having some DESSERT, so we have ordered, "Rabri" served in Aluminium plate the taste is at a different level.

Well now we have done with our lunch, soon the waiters come up with the bowl of luke warm water , with a slice of lemon floating on it. The bowl is means to hand wash at the table itself. A good gesture to respect the guest.

After spending an hour and enjoying some of the finest delicious food from North Indian Cusine, we were about to leave the place, the waiter come up with the Bill and a basket of Indian mouth freshener, that include, Assorted Saunf, Anar Dana, and Sweet Dates.

So that brought us to the end of our lunch party. A bit late office engagement, but happen in a ethnic and traditional style. The whole team enjoyed food and the splendorous interior and Desi Vibes A truly ethnic eating experience with a wonderful appeal and atmosphere
