Living with drepression meant that I was not scared to die, that I could wake up in the morning feeling nothing and go to bed the same night feeling everything. Constantly living with no hopes, no dreams, and no desire to change such things. Some people think its the pain that is worse, that it's the pain which is unbearable, but they are wrong. Feeling nothing is the worst; feeling so utterly numb that I have to run a bath so hot that it scalds my skin, just to remind myself I am still alive. Pain is the known enemy to most people, but for ones like me, who live in a world where they are completely numb, pain becomes the hero.
