JESUS IS KING OF THIS HOUSE, DEVIL GET OUT!

“One day a man invited Jesus over to his house. The man was greatly Tormented and Oppressed of the Devil. It seemed like everything he did was Sabotaged. His Wife and Children left because of his Abusive ways. He drove everyone he loved far away. He was on “survival mode” doing the best he could at his “minimum wage” job; he just couldn’t make ends meet. He often invited his friends over: Alcohol, Anger, and Pride to party his sorrows away. It just wasn’t working! He went deeper and deeper into Sorrow. He thought well, “I’ll throw a bigger party to numb my pain.” He invited Loneliness, Pornography, Shame, and Condemnation; they just Mocked and Ridiculed him. To cope with the Depression and the overwhelming sense of Loss he began to contemplate Suicide. He battled back and forth in the oppression of his mind as he was left sitting on a pile of ashes–a train wreck of a life.

Change was only an invitation away.

Finally, he was sick and tired of being sick and tired. He lifted up his voice and cried out for help! “Jesus will you come to my house?” Jesus, full of compassion, immediately heard his cry and accepted his invitation. Jesus said, “I’ve been waiting for a long time to be invited to your house. What do you want me to do for you?” The man said, “Save me Lord, I’m tormented and full of darkness!” Jesus said, “Show me around your house.” The man with tears proceeded to show Jesus the living room. They discovered behind the couch there was an Unclean Spirit that was haunting the man. Jesus said, “Do you want the spirit to leave?” The man replied, “Yes, Lord.” Jesus grabbed the demon and threw it out the front door. The man proceeded to take Jesus from room to room cleansing and kicking out every devil. The man was feeling better and better as each demon was ejected. He began to see clearer; Confusion and Anger no longer consumed his thoughts.

Jesus came to the closet and the man quickly said, “Oh no Lord don’t go in there!” Then Jesus went to the basement door, and again in a panic the man rushed over and stood in front of Jesus and said, “Don’t go down there!” Jesus saddened, said, “If you won’t let me in every room of your house I can’t totally heal you and set you free.” The man said, “Well, I feel pretty good, I’m good. In fact I feel better than I have for years. Don’t be concerned about the closet and the basement, Lord, you have full reign in the rest of my house.” Jesus reluctantly went and sat down on the couch. The man joined him and as he sat down there was a knock on the door. The man got up and answered the door. The devil rushed in on him, beat him down and ran into the closet. The man bleeding and bruised said, “Jesus, why didn’t you help me?” Jesus said, “The devil has free access to the closet because you refused to let me in.” The man limped over to the closet and said, “Jesus, please help me. Here, you have reign in the closet as well.” Jesus with authority opened the door and commanded, “Depression, Shame, Pornography, and Escapism to leave!” The devils, in fear, immediately ran out the front door. The man sighed in relief.

The Lord walked over to the basement door and looked at the man with expectation and eyes of intense fire. The man with everything in himself limped to the door and hung his head down low. He said, “Lord, I let you in the closet, isn’t that good enough?” Disappointed, Jesus went and sat back down on the couch. The man joined him. As they were having a conversation there was another knock at the door. The man struggled to get up. He walked to the front door and answered it. Seven devils violently thrust themselves in, trampling him underfoot. The devils began kicking and beating the man and left him in a bloody mess. After they were through they scurried into the basement. The man was stunned, barely conscious. In a weak gasp he said, Jesus where are you? Help me.” Jesus rose from the couch and with tears in His eyes began to compassionately tend the man’s wounds. Jesus said, “I warned you. You must let me into every room of your house.” The man couldn’t move but with a struggling voice said, “Lord, please deliver me. I give you everything. I give you permission to go into the basement.” Jesus rose and turned to the basement door. With every step it was like hell shook and the devils trembled. Jesus opened the door and with holy vengeance commanded, “Pride, Bitterness, Unforgiveness, Rejection, Witchcraft, Abandonment, and the whole legion leave!” The devils quickly, like whipped puppies, ran out the front door. The light in the whole house became brighter. The man was regaining strength as the King of his house spoke with the power of His Word, “Be thou healed.” The Lord picked the man up and with a loving embrace said, “For you my son were dead, and are alive again; you were lost, and are found.” They began to rejoice together and as they rejoiced the man’s wounds were completely healed.

They went back and sat down on the couch full of joy. They were talking about purpose and destiny. At that time there was a knock on the door. The man looked to Jesus with mounting concern. As the man began to rise, Jesus said, “I’m the King of this house, I will answer the door.” Jesus rose majestically with fire in His eyes. He answered the door and outside was a mob of devils full of revenge and malice. When they saw that the King of glory answered the door they trembled and cried out with one voice, “O’ we must have the wrong house.” Jesus commanded them to leave! The man was grateful as he walked next to Jesus. As the hordes of hell were leaving the man saw his family in the distance. The man’s heart was pounding with excitement. As his family came nearer, with every step, the man rejoiced with tears of restoration. He was beside himself as his wife, Faith, and his two daughters, Hope and Love, came to the door. Jesus and the man welcomed them in with delight. They throw a jubilant party inviting all their new friend celebrating the “Good thing the Lord hath done.” Jesus greeted every friend at the door. One after another He let them in to the party: Kindness, Joy, Liberty, Humility, Peace, Goodness, Mercy, Righteousness, Holiness, Power, Faithfulness, Unity, Self Control and Meekness. The man’s new friends came in and stayed.”

The moral of the story is we need to totally surrender every area of our lives to Ya’shua so the enemy cannot build a stronghold in your soul. We must be willing to sacrifice our carnal desires for our spiritual break-though. The Lord wants to fill us with His presence and give us revelation of His Kingdom. He wants to reveal His great love to and through us as ambassadors. He wants an intimate relationship with us, like a perfect Father to a son or daughter. If we reject His chastening we can suffer the consequences. “He chastens those who He loves.” Even in the areas we consider small inconsequential issues of life. “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.”

Remember, the eternal purpose of God is Christ being formed in us. He is committed to our destiny. Our roll is to learn how to yield and surrender to His nature as we love one another.

Hi and welcome to Steemit. That sounds like an instructive story, from the start of it. If this is your own work, I would suggest posting the whole story here. From what I've seen, that's the standard practice here, except for videos which have to be posted somewhere else. I may be wrong, but I believe people will be less inclined to upvote and resteem posts that aren't entirely on this site. You could see what other people think, but that's my impression anyway. And since you're new, here's a user-friendly guide I put together that you may find helpful. Will look for more of your work. God bless!

Thanks. Its a story I wrote that's posted on our ministry website www.actsinmotion.com. I'm new to this, if I put the whole story in 2 different places don't I get dinged from google for repeat content?

You're welcome. I don't know. I didn't realize that could be an issue. I thought I've seen people have content in two places, even just at least one other new person in the last few days. Maybe you could post about it in some place like steemit-help or writing and see what people say.

I just post the whole thing screw google. I'm learning little by little. Enjoy the story!

Thank you. I'll read it. It's funny now the plagiarist bot "cheetah" is flagging your article. However it does that a lot, even often when you just quote a little bit of text from a newspaper article in a post. You might want to reply to it that it's your own article, but I think the situation is obvious to anyone who visits the post and it's not like what the bot does carries that much weight if any, as far as I know. I don't think it affects anything here just alerts visitors to possible plagiarism. I've gotten it a number of times and haven't seen my account affected in any way.

And the bot actually isn't flagging. It's just posting. It's so polite and upvotes too that I didn't realize for the longest time what its purpose was.

This is what the Cheetah report says about it:

"Cheetah is an informative robot that might comment on your post. If she does, she will claim that she found similar content somewhere else on the web. This is because you likely copy and pasted some form of content -- whether it be your own or not. This is not an acusation of wrongdoing, but merely an informative comment for the reader."

Also I don't know if I categorized it proper? How do people find me?

The categories were good, but especially when you're new I'd stick to all five being the "main" ones which are most popular, and especially in the initial tag. Four are popular but deliverance isn't.

I put together a list of the most popular tags here. It comes from this Steemit page which they used to have listed on the main page but I'm not sure if they do anymore. It shows all sorts of tags, the number of posts and their payouts.

On how people find you, that really takes some posting and commenting. There are so many new posts and comments and new people all the time that it usually takes a little time to get some attention. Keep posting and commenting to get to know people. That seems to me to be the main thing.

Thanks for your wisdom!
