New Categories in Social Media: Public, Strict Public and Global

Those of you using facebook recently got a lesson in privacy on the internet. Facebook has misleading information about the nature of your data on its servers. The reality is that anything you put up on a server is public information. Some people will not have the sophistication to hack into your personal or so called “private” posts, but anyone who has used the internet since the mid 90’s knows that all such data is always public.

Centralized data cannot be protected. Take it from a programmer who’s operated a software business since the days before Google existed and when Yahoo! was king. For several months now, I have done nothing but leave a steady stream of Steemit links on my FB page, hoping people get the message. Even though I reached my friend limit years ago, the FB algorithms appear to have completely filtered out my FB steemit links which are always public.

While this was happening, congress recently passed a bill allowing your cloud data to be scrutinized. There’s no such thing as safe cloud storage. Even decentralized, encrypted cloud storage can be compromised, but if you must store data on the cloud, this is the way to go.

I frequently hear the argument “If you have nothing to hide, what are you worried about?”. First of all, everybody has something to hide. There is absolutely nobody who isn’t guilty. Everyone can be convicted of something. Stalin once said, “give me the man, and I will find the crime”. The structure of civil law allows for the selective prosecution of anyone at any time. Government perps are grooming you for this norm while they work on your prejudices so that you won’t stand up for each other.

The goal of a digital panopticon is to have complete knowledge of every single aspect of everyone ever born and for everyone who was ever born to have absolutely no understanding of what is real with complete and total misinformation so that you don’t understand who your enemy is. The only reason I have any immunity at all is due to my age. I was born before all this technological progress took over, before the media was able to become sophisticated in its mind control techniques.

I was born before there was a television in my house in the days when TV’s were black and white only and you were lucky if you even had one. Dad used to go over to a neighbors house down the road to watch the Lone Ranger, because he was the only one within a mile who had a TV set. In fact, the picture above is where I currently live with little difference today except that the road is finally paved now. We didn’t have running water outside of our own well until 2009 and refused to port it in to our house. That didn’t stop the county from adding a $500 tax to cover an expense we didn’t ask for.

While most of you are out there debating on whether to vote for chocolate or vanilla in the next election, you’re being distracted from the most important debate of all. What right do you as a voter have to dictate to others how others live? In voting, you are committing violence, albeit subtle to others by granting special “rights” to bullies who wear a badge.

You have no right to do this, yet authority asks you to exercise this “responsibility” without an option for opting out without spilling blood. I understand that many of you are morally confused, but your right to force others to do something stops at your own skin. We can all make suggestions to each other, but each one of us should have the freedom to do whatever we want as long as it harms no one else.

The tools out there with less than a year experience being outside of your parents home participating in "March for our lives" are walking into a perfect storm. Preemptive anything is just an excuse to violate boundaries. Instead one needs to start from the position that nothing is owed and you have to be completely responsible for your own safety. Unless you learn to live and let others live, you will be the cause for blood flowing in the streets.
