MSP Delegation Contest & First act with Steem generated from my top 20 Witness- I just delegated 1,000 SP to the Minnow Support Project
Well, everyday I stay in the top 20 my witness will generate 200+ steem. While I have a monthly bill for the server, it's not nearly as large as that. My plan is to delegate the vast majority of my steem to support minnows. I'll do that by delegating to @minnowsupport, the moderators of the Minnow Support Project, minnows in the PALnet community, and bots that the community uses to promote good stuff coming out of the community.
For people, my plan will be to delegate steem to Minnows until they become dolphins, remove the delegation and move on to the next minnow to help them grow. This may be different for Moderators and Medal of Honor winners as they have more activity in the community than average members.
That said, starting with tonight I've delegated 1,000 SP to muh baby, @minnowsupport. I'm so excited to see it grow.

This contest will run for two days and award a 500 SP delegation to a Minnow of the community's choosing. To vote please type the names of 1-2 minnows in the comment section. Most votes wins. Tie goes to value of the comment. You can self vote here.
Minnow must have earned less than 5k SP
Minnow must have less than 1000 followers
Minnow can't be a witness, mod, or medal of honor winner

PS if you don't know what delegation is- I can lend you my steem power. You benefit from the curation and get stronger votes. I don't actually lose the SP. It's a great arrangement to support minnows.

I would like to nominate #fiction-workshop's own rampaging Rhino Queen, @CarolKean. Her edits and comments help all of us raise our fiction to higher level and she frequently contributes needed humor in the workshop. Because she spends so much of her time on other people's writing, she doesn't do many posts of her own on steemit, so is growing very slowly. A delegation from you would enable her to grow at a pace she deserves, considering how much time and energy she delegates to the rest of us.
I second this call for 'the rhino' for the same reason.She works so hard to help others at the expense of her own blog. That kind of dedication to other deserves reward.

i only upvote myself 25% of the time.. If i can put forward 2 minnows...the first is @attalis- super nice guy who genuinely cares about people and is putting a huge effort into steemit. The second person I would recommend is @topdog ...his words of encouragement helped me feel a bit better about how shitty my life is at the moment.
I hope you check these guys out. Being nice for the sake of being nice should be rewarded.

@carolkean is a clear choice for me. She is utterly selfless and tireless with the work she puts into the Fiction Workshop, undervalued and taken advantage of in so many ways as both a human being and editor. She is a cornerstone of the Workshop and I have no personal ability to give her anything of value for the work she does there. This delegation would help her gain traction in the community and become an even more powerful asset for MSP.

I wholeheartedly agree! @carolkean is my clear choice. The attention she puts into helping minnows with her vast literary knowledge, she also pushes authors to be better writers. You can teach people about how to use steemit, but she is going further by improving the quality of posts we see in the community. Cheers!
