RE: My Mom's Cancer is Terminal

in #death7 years ago

Thank you for posting @schattenjaeger.

This must have been hard to write and be even harder to experience. We here at Steem are drawn into your thoughts as if face to face.

As you have given us liberty to answer your query....what should you do when you see your mum. She would appeciate you remaining strong that she may not have to be as strong.....that she would be able to converse without thinking of the pain she brings with this news.

There was a news article not long ago stating that those who decide to forego chemo-therapy are living an average of ten years after being diagnosed with cancer.

If you and your mum are believers in Christ Jesus...you can have confidence you will see each other again where there is no more sorrow, pain or tears.

The issue is...What do you think of Christ....Do you accept or reject His grace gift of Salvation.

....translated from the original Greek language...

For you see God loved the world (mankind) so much that He gave His uniquely born Son that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3.16

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God...not of works lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2.8,9

Thank you for this opportunity to think on these things.

Kindest Regards, bleujay.
