I thought Crypto Cities was very unique. I don't think I have this many Merchants accepting Crypto in any one City as Caracas. Moreover, this is the ideal place for Crypto to become mass adopted since annual inflation is through the roof!
People are in a bad situation there. Dash - because its truly digital cash (super low fees) and a good store of value its thriving with the efforts of Dash Venezuela DAO.
I am continually impressed with the forethought of the Dash team. Nice to see them thriving in a lush market like Venezuela.
Also, had no idea that the master node protocol could scale to 400 MB blocks.
Yes, I have spoken to some of the Core team members. Scaling is just not going to be a problem with Dash since all that would be required is a proposal to be put out for the MN’s to upgrade blocksize. Obviously, to gear up towards 400MB Master Nodes would need special hardware to run. This is something Dash labs has already been working on in advance of mass adoption. Since MN’s are paid for there services and happy to run higher transaction through put, upgrading to the required special hardware will not be a problem since it would vastly increase their Nodes stake value.
Great report on this! Dash has the potential to do a lot in developing and any nation for that matter.

when will the new Evolution software be present?
It seems Dash team is going to be a few months behind releasing Evolution. The roadmap last year stated a main net June release but recently they have revised it to second half 2018. Currently, they are releasing Dash 12.3 on the roadmap, so that's putting them about 4 months behind in the original roadmap. Next software releases will be test net Evolution wallet user sign-ups. Similar to how we are seeing a massive run up before EOS main net release I expect a few months before Dash Evolution upgrade to see a lot of price action. Its a very big upgrade. It adds a 3rd tier to the Dash network - 1. Mining 2. Master Nodes 3. Payments DAP. This will allow any type of Dash payment app to be built on top the Dash network. I believe its a really big deal b/c these are the type of system that payments companies like Paypal have but they are centralized and close source. Dash could become the "Paypal of Crypto" if its so user friendly anyone can use it. Dash's ability to make key funded partnerships through it's DAO is the driving factor behind what I see as it's main competitive advantage over other payment coins like Bitcoin that have tremendously hard time making software upgrades and building out strategic company alliances to fuel user adoption.
