As a kind of answer to @uwelang's suggestion, here I bring my dance music for the weekend!
I have to start to say that I'm very open to music styles, but of course when it comes to dancing I have my favorites too. And the one I like most is the salsa. But salsa is a very broad term.
So we'll take a look.
"Son" from the old guard
This is the old Cuban music, the traditional Son, peasant music. Usually it's not that fast but with a lot of "feeling".
An example is the song Chan Chan, by Compay Segundo, from Cuba.
Tanzmusik
Als eine art Antwort auf @uwelang's Vorschlag, hier bringe ich meine Tanzmusik fürs Wochenende!
Muß ich anfangen zu sagen das ich ganz offen auf Musikstile bin, aber natürlich wenn es um zu tanzen geht habe ich auch mein Lieblinge. Und die ich am meisten mag ist die Salsa. Aber Salsa ist ein ganz weit gefasster Begriff.
So werden wir kurz einen Blick darauf werfen.
"Son" von der alten Garde
Hier handelt es sich um die alte Kubanische Musik, der traditionelle Son, Bauernmusik. Normalerweise ist es nicht so schnell aber mit viel "Gefühl".
Als Beispiel gilt das Lied Chan Chan, bei Compay Segundo, aus Kuba.
Guaco Sound
Guaco is a Venezuelan group, also known as The Super band from Venezuela. Although they started playing a Venezuelan rhythm called Gaita, the they made a crossover with Salsa, Funk and many other musical forms. At the end they created a very particular sound, enclosed in the Salsa Genre. Here tey are with the song Baja.

Guaco ist eine venezolanische Gruppe, auch bekannt als Die Super Band aus Venezuela. Obwohl sie am Anfang, einen venezolanischen Rhythmus namens Gaita spielten, haben sie danach einen Crossover mit Salsa, Funk und vielen anderen musikalischen Formen gemacht. Am Ende haben sie einen ganz besonderen Sound kreiert, der im Salsa Genre enthalten ist. Hier sin sie mit dem Lied Baja.
Great stuff! Can't go wrong with Chan Chan :). I'm really liking the song by Guaco too! Learned about a new band today.
That's really cool you enjoyed it! Yes, Chan chan is too much!!! And Guaco is really a great band, I think I will write a whole post about them.
