[Youtube] My Work, HK Dance (12) – Kids Dance Performance in McDonald’s Kidathon
Yesterday, I lead my kids dancing team to the dance performance of McDonald’s Kidathon 2017.
昨天，我帶領了我公司的兒童舞蹈團隊出席麥當勞兒童愛心馬拉松的舞蹈演出！
McDonald’s Kidathon is held by Ronald McDonald House Charities HK. Ronald McDonald House Charities is an independent registered non-profit organization which is also the community of McDonald. It aims as provide a “temporary house” for hospitalized children. Ronald McDonald House Hong Kong is the first Ronald McDonald House of Asia. Although I don’t think McDonald is a good business to our community, Ronald McDonald House Charities do help a lot of kids.
麥當勞兒童愛心馬拉松由香港麥當勞叔叔之家舉辦，麥當勞叔叔之家是麥當勞註冊的一個非牟利組織，目的是為患病兒童提供一個臨時的家，而香港麥當勞叔叔之家是工洲的第一個麥當勞叔叔之家。雖然我不認為麥當勞是一個對社會有良心的企業，但麥當勞叔叔之家的而且確幫助了不少患病兒童。

McDonald’s Kidathon is charity Marathon held by Ronald McDonald’s House Charities HK since 2005. The slogan of the event is “Run for Love”. This year, there are 10,000 participants joining the marathon raising over HK$4 million. And we were invited for the opening performance. All the fund will be used to help the seriously ill children (said by McDonald’s).
麥當勞兒童愛心馬拉松是香港麥當勞叔叔之家舉辦的慈善馬拉松，今年已是第十二屆了，活動的口號是「Run For Love」。今年，共有10,000參賽者參加，為活動籌得超過四百萬港元，所有的籌款將會用來協助香港患有重病的兒童 (麥當勞這樣說)。

That is awesome that you get to work with the kids. Though usually I am skeptical of big charity organizations, I am aware that many of them do help out the community. Sounds like lots of fun, and very rewarding. Thank you for sharing. :)
