#####THE COMMUNITY FIREWOOD STOVE BUILDING.
Today me and my team of Three people ,Elan ,Tiger and me went to a community called Kabembe in Uganda to help construct for some members of the community the fire wood stove.

Also some other community members who helped in building the stove I was standing in front of them.

Our aim as a team is to help to reduce on the deforestration of the tree in the community because with their way of cooking, they use a lot of fire wood which may quickly finish all the tree in the community.

Where as the fire would stove we built for them uses very little fire wood in this case they can use one wood a day which reduces the rampant consumption of too much fire wood hence giving room for other trees to grow because at least there is very slowly cutting of trees.

first of all the fire wood stove is a stove used for cooking food, water or meals. It has an out let that passes through a wall and it has an in let for one piece of firewood. We used mad from soil, banana fiber and banana stem, water and sticks which help in shaping the stove and measuring the length and width of the stove.

We used the source pan that is oftenly used for cooking to measure the circumference of the site of where the source pan Will be put during the cooking process.

Before we went to build the fire wood stove at the community, some people were sent to the community to survey or identify which kind of people need to be helped to construct for them the firewood stove, which they I dentified and consulted them if they really wanted to have the fire wood stoves to be constructed in theirs homes which they did accept.

However the team members sent also notified the local leaders of the community such as leaders of women, chairman of the community local council of the community and also thought
for their permission of which the leaders accepted and mobilised the community members and some of our members who had visited them sensitised and encouraged them about the fire wood stove.

Before we actually constructed the fire wood stove the soil was already dug and made soft with water by the community members so when we went to the community in the morning at 8am, the mobilised community members also joined us as we were building the fire wood stove.
The reason why we involve the community is because we want them to own the fire wood stove building stove activities so that they can also learn and build it when we not a round or the can protect it, innovate it for their own use . Hence this activity can carry on without us.

They helped in more softening of the mad and extending it near us as we where building the fire would stove.
