One of the few songs still occasionally played on the radio which has a real message to it, and wise words to live by, though seemingly lost in this day and age of confusion where 'anything goes', and we've been taught 'offending' people in any way is 'bad' and that morality is entirely relative. How many Americans truly live the words, "Never compromise what's right"? Just imagine how different things in this country would be if everyone who worked for the mainstream media outlets and news channels took these simple words to heart, "You've got to be your own man, not a puppet on a string."

Sadly most Americans have from a very young age been taught well how not to think for themselves, how not to be their own man or woman, and how to instead be a 'perfect' puppet on a string, dancing to the orders and whims of their corporate, political and religious masters most often propagated by the controlled corporate media. In America, it seems we live in a country where the masses truly fall for just about anything... But no matter what we do or don't stand for, we should all keep in mind that at the end of the day the same remains true for all of us: "Whatever you do today, you'll have to sleep with tonight."
