Inspirational Quote of the Day: Angels of Light in a World of Darkness & Peace on Earth

Creating heaven on earth is simple, as I described in my New Year's post in which I invited readers to join me in resolving to begin creating heaven on earth in 2019, but though simple it is far from easy. In the spirit of this resolution, I decided that it might be a cool idea to begin sharing daily inspirational quotes which have in the past helped or are now helping me along this journey towards inner peace, positive thought patterns and actions which can help make this dream, this vision of true and lasting peace on earth, a reality.

I will of course continue to expose the corporate 'matrix' system enslaving mankind, the widespread deception foisted upon the human consciousness by the global banking elite through MSM/TV programming, and their crimes against humanity; but I figured this would be a useful way to further share my journey, inspire others, give hope in a dark world, help to elevate the human mind and consciousness, and also make more Steemit posts on the days when I don't have the time or inclination to write entire articles or even look at the news.

To be fair, I was partly inspired to do this - sharing daily quotes that is - by the story of the journey of @samstonehill - thanks for sharing your journey with us on Steemit, and your creation of the 'dailyquotes' tag Sam! Also want to thank all the Steemit truth seekers, truth warriors, independent news outlets and voices, and all those wonderful people who have supported my work on the platform and been such an encouragement, without which I would probably have given up on Steemit long ago...

For today I would like to share a slightly lengthy quote I recently heard just last week, taken from the ancient Essene tradition of peace and which really spoke to my heart. However I believe a quick introduction to the Essenes is in order for a better understanding of where it comes from.

The Essenes were an ancient, unorthodox spiritual sect of Judaism located in the land of Palestine before and during the times the man called Jesus walked this earth, and from which many historians believe both the man and the true body of his teachings arose from; who were dedicated to collecting and preserving ancient knowledge, who lived a simple community lifestyle dedicated to peace, love and compassion; and who rejected materialism, imperialism and the organized religions of the day, both orthodox Judaism and Roman paganism. Over the past year I have personally been drawn to research the history of this group, their spiritual tradition of peace, and the long-forgotten knowledge which they dedicated their lives to collecting, protecting and preserving, some of which has begun to surface and come to light in the last century with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient manuscripts and suppressed history.

I came across the quote itself in a YouTube video featuring Gregg Braden, a scientist and spiritualist also dedicated to seeking, finding and sharing ancient spiritual as well as suppressed scientific knowledge, and the deeper truths about this world and humanity. The video itself features Gregg Braden explaining the 5 tenets of compassion according to the Essenes, and giving an overview of his book, The Isaiah Effect - the video is a total of 1 hr 15 min., recommended if you are interested in this type of knowledge, and Braden's brief introduction to the relevant quote begins at 49:40 (video embedded below).

"As we ask of ourselves the same questions which were asked by those who come before us," Braden explains - how to create peace in our lives, the lives of those we love and indeed throughout the whole world - the answers are the same now as they were 2,000 years ago. The quote itself is the answer the Essenes gave to new initiates:

"To lift your eyes to heaven, when the eyes of others are on the ground is not always easy; and to worship at the feet of angels, when others worship fame and riches is not always easy; and perhaps the most difficult of all, is to think the thoughts of angels and to do as angels do.

The sons and daughters inherit the lands of their father. So we have inherited a land from our Father. And this land is not a field to be plowed, rather it is a place that lives within us, where we may build our holy temple. And even as a temple must be raised stone by stone, so you will be given those stones for the building of your holy temple, that which you have inherited from your Father. And your holy temple can be built only with the ancient communions, those which are spoken, those which are thought, those which are lived. For if they are only spoken with the mouth, they are as dead. Your communions are a bridge between you and the angels, and like a bridge, can be built only with patience. Just as the roots of the tree sink into the earth and are nourished, and the branches of the tree raise their arms to heaven, so you are like the trunk of the tree with your roots deep in the breast of your earthly Mother and your soul ascending to the brightest stars of the heavenly Father. And as the roots of the tree are the angels of the earthly Mother and the branches of the tree are the angels of the heavenly Father, this is the sacred tree of life, and it is this tree which stands in the sea of eternity.

Let us take those words to heart and begin creating peace on earth, first in ourselves, then our friends and neighbors, our communities, and eventually the entire world. It won't be easy but it is simple, and like Braden I truly believe this is the time, humanity is ready, and we must believe, visualize it, feel it, live it, and by doing so we will create it.
