Amsterdam is very International City. They provide a variety of International cuisine to attract visiting tourists.
I did not really eat anything traditional but I noticed there was a strange food vending machine. It had local sandwiches inside

The next time I'm in Amsterdam I will definitely do some more research on their local cuisine. 😉
