📷 Daily Pet Photography Challenge hosted by @kona: Mickey, RIP on 4th July, 2018📷
The following photo of my dearest pet guinea pig, Mickey and Denny, is submitted to #dailypetphotography challenge hosted by @kona.
He was a very good piggey boy. He passed way at 3am on 4th of July, 2018, incidentally, the independence day of USA. He was an American breed, very active, lovable, playful and interactive boy guinea pig. He lived for 4 years and 10 months and passed way due to anesthesia complicity after a tooth surgery. He has survived one year after a cancer surgery in 2017.
He had a friend, Denny, whom we lost on 8th September, 2015 at one year nine months due to also anesthesia complicity after tooth surgery.
We will never forget our sweet time with them.
We (@theia7 and @riseofth) grief Mickey's (Brown Guinea Pig) loss and wish him great journey after world.

I am really sorry to hear about Mickey, it is always horrible to know that such cute little family members may die after such medical intervention. Once reading your post I learnt a lot about little pets, it must be hard to lose first Denny and now Mickey.
I wish Mickey a good journey in pet's paradise, it must be such area for animals too.

Ahh bless, he looks just like our Guinea pig who passed last year - he also had complications with his teeth - but he was 6 years old so they didn't recommend surgery because of the dangers of the anesthetic. He just passed away of old age. He loved raiding the herb garden and would often be found under the oregano or mint plants.
