Solar cat charging his panels, casting shadow on carpet

Walter sits in his toaster cat position waiting to adsorb light and recharge himself for another round of playing. His shadow being cast on the carpet, getting long due to the afternoon sun going through the sky towards the west.

I like how the sun hits their fur and eyes, he has those classic “Halloween” cat eyes. He basks in the sun for many hours a day, and sometimes retreats back into a cat box we got for Tesla and Himself. It has a tube thats connected to the box, and when the sun hits it, they love being in the warm box. But he also loves the sun alot like he is doing in the above photo, its something that is a daily ritual to them.

I caught a quick moment of Walter and his hunting face. He slightly hangs his jaw open when hes playing with toys or stalking things. Not sure whats that about, but ive seen other cats do it as well. Must be like when they chirp at their prey, or some kind of social queue. He took the worm on the stick toy moments before, he does not mean any harm but kind of looks fierce in this photo.
