Daily Pet Photography - Fish TanksteemCreated with Sketch.

in #dailypetphotography5 years ago (edited)

Here's some fish from my tank.

Here's the king of the tank, he reigns over the top area of the tank with a few neons.

Here's the king of the bottom of the tank. My zebra loach.

These ottocinclus are the diligent cleaners of the tank. They act as algae vaccums.

What cool fish you have I am pondering setting up a fish tank again when I retire

I have a couple 5 gallon beta tanks with guppies and cories as well. The tanks aren't too hard to maintain, the big angelfish tank needs weekly vaccuming and algae sponging but other than that its easy. Salt water tanks on the other hand are big maintenance, maybe i'll try that when i retire lol.

I had a couple of tanks when I was young and when we lived in Jersey City I had a huge tank with a good selection init, if I do decide to set one up I may well go for a reef tank, bene thinking about if for years but with moving so often it was never a good idea

Get one of those dragon eels that cost around 2k. Or those mini sting rays. There's a huge aquarium store that sells them around here. Expensive but fun hobby.

that would be cool but not for me or my Wife she would not like them LOL
