Mary has her own cat tree to hang out on. She took to it right away, but only uses the one platform, never see her up top. Guess she doesn't want her view restricted.
Cats are funny about how they use their "furniture." With so many cats at your place, maybe she feels safer surveying the world from one of the lower platforms?
She has been in the basement for some 9 months and access to the house for over a month. She trusts and loves me, but not cats. She has learned not to trust cats from living outside. Time will tell if she ever will. It is good that she can be in the same room with them without fighting. All my cats are sweeties and will give her space. So far I can't complain.
She looks cute! She wants to have everything under her control down there. In case one of the cats crosses her territory :P

That is a good sign that she can be in the same room with the other cats without fighting. I think she will eventually trust at least some of them.
