Daily Pet Photography: my friend’s new kittens are getting bigger

This is my entry for #dailypetphotography hosted by @kona. This is my second post on the development of my friend’s kittens. I know he’s very excited and possessive of these four tiny kittens. He is very dedicated to his two adopted stray cats. And he makes all effort to make sure that these four kittens are safe and healthy. It was heart broken for him to lose all the tree kittens after the mother cat became ill and refused to nurse her kittens.

This time my friend is very happy to have all four kittens and the mother cat in good health. The operation scar on the abdomen of the mother cat has healed nicely. She is now a perfect mother cat who feeds her babies and cleans them lovingly. I have to see these kittens close up, so I ask my friend to send more photos of each kitten. I am afraid he is quite short-sighted and these photos were taken by an old tablet.

This kitten has three colours which means bringing good luck; it’s a male so I am very incline to adopt this kitten later.

This kitten just tells me that her father cat has this colour too. My friend told me last time that he saw two male cats watching his cat for two weeks.

This orange cat is very similar to my cats at home, so I might also ask for this kitten. My friend was expressing stress of having now six cats in his house. I told him there was no need to be stress at all. I used to have six cats and some just got lost, some got attacked by stray dogs while wandering in the far away wooded areas. These cats would not stay in one place when they grow up; these are semi-wild cats.

This is another female kitten with darker grey coat. My friend says these kittens just get fed and sleep all day!

The orange father cat who has become a house cat is completely exhausted by watching over the kittens! Hard work for father cat!

The mother cat is also sleeping! So, I can’t see their bright alert faces. I wonder what kind of food my friend gives these cats! They have become too calm and docile! So, that’s a family of very sleep cats!
