Let's eat, Steemit! - Lucban Longganisa
This is my entry for the Daily Food Photography Challenge being held by @Howtostartablog, the details of which, can be found here
Today has been busy, took care of some work when I woke up, grabbed a quick cup of coffee, installed Discord on my PC and chatted with @fraenk about some cuddly stuff.
I also learned that there's a huge scratch on the side of the van -- about two meters long LOL. (it's hard to miss!) My wife told me that it was her fault and that she got it from last night.
Inspected the scratch. It was not deep, there were a few dimples and the top coat of the paint was scraped. It was still a HUGE eyesore so we drove to the body repair shop to have it fixed, got it in a couple of hours ago, and we should be able to pick it up this afternoon. Talk about quick service! I guess it helped that the owner of the shop was a good friend of my father-in-law. :p
It was almost lunchtime when we got home so she just whipped up some spaghetti for the kids, while I cooked the Longganisa that we got from our ride last week. Longganisa is pork sausage, usually seasoned with paprika and a LOT of garlic. There are a lot of varieties from different regions of the Philippines, but one of my favorites is the variety from Lucban.
Served with Garlic Rice which I topped with Crunchy Spicy Bagoong, sunny-side eggs, and spicy cane vinegar.

Ang sarap favorite ko yang longga. Daming variants sarap lucban. We also have imus longga here na masarap din.
