BookMark Coffee @ Centre Point Medan Connaught – Coffee Art

Yay for 1st day of year 2018! Firstly, wish all Steemians Happy New Year and hope we all have a good Steem year ahead!

It’s a cosy rainy lazy day. My wife said today its holiday for her too, means no cooking at home. She is carving for western food and coffee today. It’ been a while I wanted to visit Bookmark Coffee but doesn’t have the chance. So we decided to give it a try since it’s only 5min drive from our house.

As expected, public holiday + lunchtime = Full House! But lucky for us, we managed to get a table at one of the far corner.

Cheesy Crispy Fried Chicken for my wife and I op for something fusion, Lemak Spaghetti (Spaghetti with Sambal) and Salty Egg Cheese Cake. Interesting combination right? Hahaha

Cheesy Crispy Fried Chicken (RM20) - 8/10
The chicken is fried with cornflakes. Crunchy outside and juicy inside.

Lemak Spaghetti (RM20) - 7.5/10
The combo itself looks weird. But Spaghetti + Sambal isn't that bad at all. The fried chicken with curry powder is good as well. Worth a try.

Salted Egg Cheese Cake (RM13) - 8.5/10
Salted egg crab, Salted egg sotong, Salted egg chips.... What about Salted egg Cheese Cake? Surprisingly, it suits my taste. Me, my wife and my kids love this.

Overdose Cafe Latte (RM12) - 8/10
Since Caffee Art is their signature, I didn't put much expectation on the taste of the coffee. But I was wrong. Their coffees are actually not bad. We requested to have a Totoro art on the coffee since my elder daughter love Totoro. Amaizing artwork on coffee.

They have 2 branches. One near UCSI Taman Connaught (Ikon side); A newer branch at Cheras Sentral Point.
