So I have been missing the last few days and with good reason. I have had more design work keeping me busy each night until the early hours of the mornings and just no time to write. I do need to teach this one design customer that the time to give a project to me to draw is in advance of when they are planning to start the project, not when they are pulling up to the job site ready to start working.
One problem after...
Some cities have gotten pretty strict on permitting and this town they are working in right now is one of them. So I got the plan Monday night from him and it was one problem after another in getting the plan completed by Thursday morning but it is behind me now. I have another project for the same customer and I think he has got the message since this project he won’t start until after the New Year.
Inventory went...
Inventory went better than expected and the boss actually heeded the weather warnings and did let the outside stuff be counted on Wednesday so we managed to at least stay dry on Friday when we counted stuff at work. In fact, I am starting this Daily Dose while we are waiting for the first variance report to come from the main office on the inventory.
I just figured...
I just figured I would get a head start on this Daily Dose since I actually have some time on my hands and nothing pressing to go recount or verify a bin location.
Team poker play...
Today (Friday) I just found out that @spl team play starts Sunday and I have been absent from the poker site this week so I didn’t know it was cranking up Team Up play already. I thought it wouldn’t kick off until after January 1 but I was dead wrong. The bad news is I had just told @blanchy that Team Play wouldn’t start for a while so he might end up missing out if he listened to me. Sorry @blanchy, I made a mistake.

Today is Saturday and that means it is SBI day here at the Daily Dose so we are going to give away some SBI right now.
Seeing how I...
Seeing how I did land on team just Friday afternoon I am going to give my new team mates each a share of SBI, so without further delay here is who I will be teamed up with this season.
My team mates...
First off is a guy I was teamed up in the last season named @Loquedog21/gamesandcrypto. I need to check and see just what his actual name is here on steemit so I can make sure I send in and he gets credit for it. I know I have done this before with my team mates from last season but I can’t remember off the top of my head what he goes by for sure.
Second is a person you all should be familiar with as she is a regular here at the Daily Dose and that would be @beautifulbullies . She has been making a name for herself over there at the poker tables and has been recruited to play by Loquedog21. I had nothing to do with it; but I am happy to have her as a team mate, she will be a definite asset to our team. I also had nothing to do with picking our team name but I believe she might have, we will be known as the Poker Pups.
The third player is @four20 and she is good poker player as well and is a regular at the final table of most tournaments she enters. So we have a team of four players which is the maximum and if you remember my Daily Doses from last season of team play I was on a team that one member rarely showed up to play so we were very handicapped and struggled to stay in the middle of the pack.
I believe this...
I believe this season we have a team to contend for the top spot since I know that unless something major happens all of our players will at least show up and get dealt in to the games. What happens from there is anyone’s guess but you sure as hell can’t win if you aren’t playing.
The weather folks...
The weather folks were absolutely correct with the weather prediction for Friday, flat ass poured rain the better of the day. I made the decision Friday night to cancel the Girl Scout Spurs event that Blondie & Shortie signed up for, the event didn’t get cancelled but they did. When water on the roads is over the curbs in a lot of places it isn’t time to be venturing out on a 60 mile round trip to drop the girls off at a camp. We didn’t get out of work until 5:30 PM on Friday and it took two hours to drive the 30 miles home from the office to the house.

Please forgive me for being hit and miss with the Daily Dose and replies to comments, there are only so many hours in the day and I am doing my best to use every one of them right now. Also keeping with our unwritten rule, @blanchy receives a share of SBI for being mentioned in the Saturday edition although not featured.

Thank you so much Mr Papper, I do appreciate it! I'm the same, would rather know immediately when I've made a mistake and not see it later when I can't fix it, so it goes in life too not so! I saw a mistake in an old steemit post and it's there forever now!

Not that we didn't try to accommodate the customer, but scheduling today for a piece of equipment today that you need tomorrow? After it's been sitting still for two weeks? Probably not much sympathy vote from me...
Speaking of equipment the new next door neighbor has rented a current generation Bobcat to do some work and I've been able to take a pretty close look at it. Pretty darn nice piece of gear. I just loved the little buggars, got every certification for them that I could.
I'd like to ask him to give it a try but he is paying by the 'accumulated hour' and I don't feel right even asking to raise his bill. It's the 'track' model and I don't have much time on them. Not that the drive has changed any, but the steering and turning has to be affected.
I'm glad your inventory went better than expected. That's always a good thing.
Nice choices for the SBI. That BB is a multi-talented girl for a fact.
And most of all, I'm just glad to get my daily dose. I understand your absence and all, but I'm always really glad to see you here.
I have spent more time hunting bobcats than I have operating them but I do know they have come along way with what they can do and the attachments. I could see that trax model being in demand where you are with all the sand.
That job the guy needed done this week he had already designed and the permit office rejected his plan but not until they were mobilizing for that job, so it put him in a real bind. It also didn't help that I had a computer issue on Wednesday night and lost four hours of work I had already completed before the issue arose.
I know better than to not click the save button more regularly and i made the mistake of skipping the save button. When I stopped to go get a bite to eat the computer went so sleep and wouldn't wake back up.
I had to pull the battery and unplug it in order for it to boot up, I knew I had screwed myself but I had no choice.
I now am clicking save at least once every 30 minutes. I am noy going to lose anymore than that at one time.
BB is very talented for sure, have you been checking out her photography posts of late? She has really taken some great photos in that class she is enrolled in.

It looks like I have gotten myself teamed up with some dogs and a pot head, but I am happy to be a part of it. You are most welcome on the SBI for sure. Tournament play can be tricky, especially when you are at a table with your team members.
I am guessing we just check it down when up against a team member? Ah well I am sure we will figure it out haha :D
Pretty much, we need to protect each other if we can, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it when making a call or placing a bet.
My goodness, you are working like a madman! I bet you are counting the hours until this adventure is over. I didn't realize you had that much rain on Friday night..yikes that sounds like the typical winter drive I used to make to and from work on a snowy day. Not something to play around with. We had five inches of rain here on Friday most of it during the evening hours so it was a mess for driving.
I just lost out on a poker game, so I will answer a couple of replies and go back to drawing on the computer. It is good that this drawing I am working on isn't needed "yesterday" like most of them lately have been. So I am able do some then take a break and come back and do more.
This pressure cooker if a situation will clear up after the first of the year and things will get back to a "new" normal which I will have control over and that will help greatly with time management. For right now though"it is what is", as the young folks say.

Wow thanks @sultnpapper . Glad the inventory went well. Thanks for heads up about poker league. I played on scorum last night and I nearly got ran out of there for telling a guy to let his poker hands do the talking! 😂😂. Was great fun though . I will play tonight at 11pm my time gmt. There are a couple in there that want my head .😂😂.

I don't do much chatting while I play, in fact there are plenty of games that I turn the chat off and don't even look at it. It is used by a lot of people to get inside your head and disrupt your concentration level so you make decisions you normally wouldn't make.
So there are times when I might look like a jackass for not saying "ty" when somebody tells me "nh" but that is just the way it is with me.
Scorum is an off shoot of lucksacks and spl and I have played some over there. I was invited to play there while it was being tested and I have played some since it has opened to the public. My work stuff has kept me busy this week and I haven't played a game of poker.
I need to check and see with my team what site we are playing on as LowQ didn't say, I just assumed it was SPL but I know Scorum is talking about team play and leagues too. It may very well be on there that I signed up for with this team.
You are welcome on the SBI, my pleasure to be able to give back a little to the community each week on Saturday's and it just so happened you needed mentioned since I might have given you bad information.
I may try and make the poker game at scorum later today. I need to refresh my skills before the league starts on Sunday.

Howdy sir sultnpapper! Inventory always suck but looks like you got through it alright. Did you decide to stay at your company, I can't remember. lol... they were giving you another position if you wanted it right?
They did offer me another position and I just got the formal contract offer on Friday that spelled out all the details. I have been training with the guy that is retiring since the end of October but between you and me, I don't see me staying there much longer. I am still working there as of now but I am also still negotiating with the rep firm I mentioned in an earlier Daily Dose and more than likely will be with them before the end of January.
I have some bonus money that I have coming to me and I am not leaving until I get it, which is usually the middle of December but rumor has it that it might be "delayed" a bit this year.
