Daily Digital. 'Embossed Cormorants."

I just love cormorants and the Little Pied Cormorants have really defined shapes which make them ideal for photography.
This pair were nodding off in the sun when I captured them. And they have become the subject of my Daily Digital feature today. The embossed digital effect really emphasized the textures, creating an interesting painted look.

That is a really cool effect. Sure it works better on some photos then others, but it's perfect for this one.

I don't want to do a rushed job and would like to spend enough time to prepare it properly. Leave it with me and I'll do some homework. (:

This effect is like an oil painting with a palette knife. It's quite lovely.
