白蚁 (Termite) produced the beat he called, "Gin and Steak" for his Worldwide Cypher Jam Round 56.
Zig partaking of the tasty beats Termite served, first added some fuzz wah guitar (tough choice between that or muted trumpet), cool vibes (vibraphone, that is, as this joint already had a cool vibe to it), and #chiptune percussive sounds from a custom box with four 6581 Sound Interface Devices of Commodore 64 vintage, the box Zig calls 'The SIDnth'. Although the guitar and vibes were filling enough, Zig opined, "Of all the gin joints in the Worldwide Cypher Jam, SIDnth had to work into this one...".
Zig met 白蚁 (Termite) before this recording on a decentralized social media platform, Discord/Steemit, where you must remember this, as time goes by, you'll think the blockchain is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
Zig's had this running joke with Termite about how the Worldwide Cypher Jams provide a sense of (digitally, virtually) going to a late night after hours jam session at some gin joint in an urban setting into some dark, smoke-filled room where the cats are kickin' it on a cool but also intense hitherto unheard of sound reconfiguration of well-known roots, all welcoming you to sit in with them ...
Regardless of however you must remember this phenomenon, besides Zig's taking Termite's prompt and yielding an instrumental Trip Hop Nu Jazz specimen as in this present case, no one can deny the Worldwide Cypher Jam will always welcome the best rappers on Steemit, as time goes by...
