白蚁 (Termite) produced the beat he called, "Hidden Hatchet" for his Worldwide Cypher Jam [ ROUND 49 ].

Coincidentally, it just so happened that Zig's favorite ax, a custom chiptune box called 'the SIDnth' (comprising Commodore 64's 6581 Sound Interface Devices) had a malfunction about a week before Termite's Worldwide Cypher Jam prompt beat came out ... malfunction apparently due to a persistent, ground loop-induced, N-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor latch-up, that went away after taking the whole thing apart a few days later after letting it cool down/discharge. Due to the sporadic nature of the deleterious effects of ground loops, being stochastic events themselves, a firm understanding of the root cause of the malfunction remains somewhat hidden. The overall emotive and psychological effect of the event on the artist left the impression of the attachment he had to his favorite ax, hence the name of this tune.

Zig's had this running joke with Termite about how the Worldwide Cypher Jams provide a sense of (digitally, virtually) going to a late night after hours jam session at some club in an urban setting into some dark, smoke-filled room where the cats are kickin' it on a cool but also intense hitherto unheard of sound reconfiguration of well-known roots, all welcoming you to sit in with them ... Regardless of whichever stochastic processes whereby one arrives at this phenomenon, besides Zig's taking Termite's prompt and yielding an instrumental Trip Hop Nu Jazz specimen as in this present case, no one can deny some of the best rappers on Steemit regularly attend and spit top werd ...
