Continuation of Bicycle Trip to the Autumn Forest (Sumy, Ukraine) Part 2. EN/RU.

After we crossed this small tributary,

we returned to the forest.

It was the same forest, only it looked a little more elegant, not all the leaves have crumbled in this part, so everywhere there were a lot of yellow and orange colors.

You know, there are places that you want to skip faster, and you're just glad that you're on a bike. And being among such beauty, but the turn, wants to get off the bike and walk a little on foot, rustle the leaves under your feet, consider everything in details - prolong the pleasure of communicating with nature.

We walked slowly along the flat asphalt road. Usually such a road in the forest is a rarity and the Zelenyi Hai is perhaps the only forest in the vicinity of our city, where there is a small piece of hard coating. All thanks to the recreation center, which exists here since the Soviet times. The last time the base is not working, but the road is still in excellent condition.

Behind the recreation base is a cross-country track, equipped by Sumy bicyclists for training and small local competitions, so cyclists here can be met quite often.
Every summer there is a festival of active recreation and tourism "Strecoza" (Dragonfly), as well as competitions in orienteering. On some trees there is even a tape-marking.

We made a few photos here and rode further.

Just behind the hill is the recreation center and pedestrian bridge to the other side of the river.

By this shore it is much easier to get to the city, a short distance away is a private sector with kitchen gardens and small summer houses - so in summer there are quite a lot of vacationers here. Some of them come with tents, fishing rods and stay for a few days alone with nature.

Our way back almost all the time went along the shore, sometimes coming to the very edge of it.

Further along the shore we have 2 summer camps, some of my friends bring their children here for summer vacation. A long flat beach with a row of metal umbrella mushrooms for sun protection. We stopped at one of them, take a break and have tea.

This could be nice romantic moment, captured on photo, but...

Probably each of us has friends who like to spoil photos on purpose. It seems, I live with one of these guys :-)

Продолжение нашего вело-путешествия в осенний Зеленый Гай.
После того как мы пересекли этот небольшой приток, мы вернулись обратно в лес. Это был тот самый лес, только выглядел он немного более нарядно, здесь еще не все листики осыпались, поэтому повсюду было много желтых и оранжевых красок.
Вы знаете, есть места, которые хочется проскочить побыстрее, и ты просто рад что ты на велосипеде. А находясь среди такой красоты, нооборот, хочеться слезть с велосипеда и пройтись немного пешком, пошуршать листиками под ногами, рассмотреть все в деталях - продлить удовольствие от общения с природой.
Мы неспешно шли по ровной асфальтной дороге. Обычно такая дорога в лесу большая редкость и Зеленый Гай пожалуй единственный лесной массив в окрестностях нашего города, где есть небольшой отрезок ровного твердого покрытия. Все благодаря базе отдыха, которая существует здесь еще с советских времен. Последние пору лет база не работает, но дорога все еще в отличном состоянии.

Сразу за базой отдыха находится кросс-кантрийная трасса, обустроенная велосипедистами для тренировок и небольших местных соревнований, поэтому велосипедистов здесь можно встретить довольно часто.
Каждое лето здесь проводится фестиваль активного отдыха и туризма "Стрекоза", а также соревнования по спортивному ориентированию на местности. На некоторых деревьях даже осталась лента-разметка.
Мы сделали сдесь несколько фотографий и поехали дальше.
Сразу за холмом находится база отдыха и пешеходных мост на другую сторону реки. По этому берегу намного легче добраться до города, совсем недалеко находится частный сектор с огородами и небольшими летними домиками - поэтому летом здесь довольно много отдыхающих. Некоторые из них приезжают с палатками, удочками и остаются на несколько дней наедине с природой.
Наша обратная дорога почти все время шла вдоль берега, иногда подходя к самому его краю. Вот так она выглядит впереди (фото)

Хорошее место чтобы помедитировать или сделать фото на закате.
Дальше по берегу, сразу 2 дестких летних лагеря, некоторые из моих знакомых привозят сюда своих детей на летний отдых. Длинный пологий пляж с рядом металлических грибов-зонтиков для защиты от солнца. Мы остановились под одними из них, передохнуть и выпить чаю.
Это мог быть хороший романтический момент, запечатленный на фото, но...
Наверное у каждого из нас есть друзья, которые любят нарочно портить фотографии. Вот с одним из таких типов я живу:-)
А вот уже и первые домики в черте города.
Вон там, за мостом, начинается поток машин и людей, движение, шум, суета, а здесь можно еще разок взглянуть на закат.
