CWC week #2 (DRAINED)

DRAINED
He sat in front of the mirror and stared at himself with so much pain in his eyes, he watched tears roll down his cheeks, he was about to make a terrible mistake and there was no one there to stop him, all he ever wanted was someone to truly care about him, for someone to love him with all his flaws, for someone to be there for him, for someone to notice that he was sinking in a huge ocean of depression.

He had hit rock bottom and there was still no one to pull him out, if no one noticed him when he was on the surface, why would they notice now, he stared at his reflection, he did not like what he was seeing, he saw a broken teenager who had nothing else to live for, he saw someone who had lost everything even though he didn't have much.

He looked away from the mirror and down at the knife in his hand, he thought of writing a note but no one was going to read it, what was the point, he tried to stall and see if anyone was going to come knocking, he had not stepped out in a week, surely someone must have noticed, surely someone must care, but no, no one came knocking.

He took one last look at the mirror and smiled with his tear filled face, it was finally going to be over, he was going to a better place now, his pain was finally going to be over, he grabbed the knife properly and without a second thought, he slit his own wrist, he watched his own wrist open up, he was not even in pain, as the blood left his body through his wrist, all his pain slowly left, he smiled, he was finally at peace.
