According to Google 129,864,880 million books had been published world wide as of 2010. That number is obviously a lot higher now. And Wikipedia is reporting there are approx. 2.2 million books published every year.
The book Codex Leicester Leonardo da Vinci is sold for $49.4 million in 1994. And according to Business Insider the book was purchased by Bill Gates.
And do you like the smell and aroma of a good old book? There’s a special word for loving the smell of books and it is "bibliosmia". If you don't believe just check the Urban Dictionary: Top definition - Bibliosmia
Mark Twain wrote the first book ever written with a typewriter - The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
President Theodore Roosevelt used to read one book per day. Well... that's what I call a fast reader.
