in #curiousfacts7 years ago

Special thanks to @river-island for this amazing and educative contest. And my special appreciation goes to everyone who upvoted my last contest entry. Your upvotes made me a first runner up in the last #curiousfacts contest.

For my entry for this episode, I will like to share with you some amazing fact I discovered about an African country called Botswana.

Botswana is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa with its capital Gabarone known for its game reserves, art and cultural displays.

  • Botswana has the largest elephant population on the continent. They can be seen at the Chobe National Park. The park is known for their large herds of elephants.

  • Do you know that Botswana is approximately the size of France, but has only 2 million people living in the country, compared to France’s 66.9 million.
