I always had the impression that it would be ideal for the children to listen more to this type of music in its development, if they have already adapted the pieces to LLullaby, Why not create the illustrations that are more attractive to them? The goal of my project is to bring the youngest to the music of Antonio Vivaldi through illustrations that accompany the songs, as if they were talking about a story.

For this occasion, nature is represented in a girl who plays with time, as you can see, her clothing and physical features such as her hair or skin color change as we enter the next season. My interest here was to re-interpret the concept of "Mother Nature" to "Girl Nature". So we have as a consequence being included in a world of innocence

The entire project was done in a Tablet ZTE and with Adobe Photoshop CS6 , the composition is structured by layers in such a way that they materialize the textures in juxtaposition. Here I show you a small video of the process.

The work begins with cheerful and sweet melodies, because the year is beginning, the illustration opens with the girl prostrate on a rock watching how the leaves begin to be born again after a hard winter. The color palette should of course be of very intense blues and greens to suggest the birth of spring. Vivaldi writes the following in the scores:

Movement N.1 Allegro : The spring arrived and the birds gladly greet her with their song, and the fountains to the sound of the white wind with sweet murmuring flow in as much. The air covers with its black cloak thunders, rays, heralds of its advent, and then silences them, birds without a story turn back to their charming charm.

Vivaldi expresses tiredness due to the heat with a theme based on brief motives that seem to evoke slow and deep breathing, through the orchestra separated by silences. Large numbers of flying insects flit away from the storm, the rays illuminate the sky full of storm. The storm described by the orchestra based on short figures and very fast. After all this, the fresh air comes, with a strong ray of sunlight that illuminates the entire blue sky. The girl can now rest and enjoy the calm sea that lies before her. As noted below, emphasis is placed on the warmth of a sunny day on the beach.

Movement N.1 Allegro non Bolto - Allegro : Under a hard season of burning sun, man and flock must be withered and the pine burns; the cuckoo launches the voice and soon hears the turtledove and the goldfinch responds to the trill. He blows the sweet zephyr and then Boreas suddenly drags his neighbor; and he weeps the shepherd because he still fears fearful storm and his destiny.

The girl plays with the leaves that have turned brown while the wind blows intensely with a cold breeze. In this part you notice the radical change of the color palette with respect to the other stations. Of course, the brown, red and yellow will prevail in the composition.

Movement N.3 Allegro : At dawn the hunter goes hunting with horns, dogs and rifle, fleeing runs the beast, follow the trace, already scared and tired of the rumble of weapons and dogs, wound threatens to run away, already defeated, dying.

The peasants take refuge in their homes in front of their fires, outside the snow has already covered the whole place while at night the stars fight to be seen in the intense and thick blizzard that lashes the meadow. The girl has been covered and protected from the snow, however. His desire to play is as intense as ever.

Movement N.3 Allegro : Walking on ice at a slow pace for fear of falling without energy. Strong to walk, to slide, to fall to the ground, again on the ice and to stride until the ice opens in porphyria. To hear howling behind closed doors Siroco, Boreas, every wind in war. This is winter and everything gives joy.

Finally, I decided to make a poster where you can see the 4 stations and serve as a sample of what will be seen in the Booklet. Nature is the center of the composition because everything revolves around it, it is an eternal cycle so we are fortunate to live in a planet as perfect as the earth is.
