Sammy Has Some $$$ Fifties, for Five Dollars Apiece...(Another AngryMan True Story)

in #curie6 years ago

If I ever needed to 'extend' the value of my fiat currency back in the day, it was a real 'plus' to know certain 'Mob' types in New York City. Some 'connected' fellas were able to turn your five dollar bill into a twenty...like magic. (The magic of the printing press)

Now I'm not saying that @AngryMan would ever seek out one of these 'money magicians'...that would have been illegal. The Feds don't seem to like it when private citizens print their 'own' money, instead of getting it from a bank. As a matter of fact, getting caught producing your own Federal Reserve Notes can land you in the slammer longer than a murderer.

I've known lots of guys; and 'one' girl who killed somebody, got caught, went to jail and were out within five years...Counter-fit a handful of U.S. Greenbacks, and you'll get ten to twenty years in a Federal Pen...now how lopsided is that? When it comes to American justice, there ain't no justice.

Knowing a guy who can deliver all the twenties you want for five dollars apiece can be a very tempting offer to take advantage of; and I knew some people who could deliver plenty. Where are they now, when I need them the most?

Fake money wasn't just passed in stores and gas stations by entrepreneur types...wads of it were exchanged for drugs, stolen cars, a truck load of heisted merchandise from a warehouse...things like that...It was also good for gambling with, paying a Lady of the Night, or maybe buying a "shorty" to protect yourself with in case somebody came looking for you, that you passed the bogus cash too...

Spending your own fake money, rather than the Federal Reserve fake money, was a lot safer under certain conditions. Buying drugs for bogus bills was safer than one might expect, because drug money usually just got recirculated back into the underground economy...It was recycled...a good thing...just like soda cans, plastic bottles, electrical appliances...things like that. The government actually encourages us to 'recycle'...then they get angry for recycling cash...??? You'd think they'd be happy instead?

When a drug dealer sells you some merchandise, they don't take that money to a bank and deposit it into a checking or savings account...not unless they're 'BIG' players with connections to CIA and the Banking Cartel...in that case, there is always a backdoor way to make illegal, 'legal' deposits...These are done through 'Special Accounts' which are handled a bit differently than the accounts you and I open.

I had a friend named Sam at the pool room, who I just happened to mention to, that a mutual acquaintance of ours had some 'good' twenties for sale, at five bucks a pop...Sammy calmly quipped back, "I can get you all the 'fifties' you want for five bucks apiece. Now, fifties were a lot harder to pass on the street than twenties, I guess that's why the price didn't get higher with a rise in the denomination? One hundred dollar bills were even harder to pass...people scrutinized them more.

As good as the price was for raising money on the street from the right source, it was nowhere as good as the deal Banks get from the Federal Reserve...How would you like to increase the value of your pocket 'ten fold' like your friendly, neighborhood Bank can? Now that's a great deal...

How does 'that' work? Well, first you have to be an insider...one of the boys; just like with the Mob. A Bank actually gets 'free' money in a sense from the Feds. "How" you ask? Here's how, my friend.

YOU go to the bank for a loan of $1,000.

They have you sign a promissory note to pay it back with, lets say...5% interest...

The bank takes that piece of paper to the Feds, who gives them credit for $10,000. at lets say...3% interest.

Now, the Bank has an additional $9,000. to loan out at 5% interest that they have to share with the Feds...

The balance is theirs to do what they wish.

Now, it may be a slightly more complicated than this, but 'generally' this is how money is created and flows illegally oooops... I mean 'legally' in our society, by the Cabal...oooops...I mean government. A much 'sweeter' game, than you or I can play on the street with the 'bent nose' type guys...

The most successful criminals in the world, are not those guys in the pool room, the Bars or on street corners...They are the guys who go to work in suits and ties every morning, driven in a limousine from one Penthouse, to another, of course unless they have to catch a flight to Washington DC for a meeting with the boys over tea and crumpets.

But, hey...if you ever need a little help with your cash flow...I can point you to a Pool Hall on Queens Blvd. in New York City, where you might be able to find a guy named Sammy...tell him that @AngryMan sent you, if he's still around to help you out.

I'm outta here for now...see ya when I see ya...

Ciao
