A Simple Thank You To All Genuine Curators - They See The Bigger Picture

I believe that both manual and genuinely motivated auto-curators are the unsung heroes of our community.

This isn't rocket science, but I feel that many take them for granted or expect their benevolence, by not supporting them in return.

As pillars of adoption and retention, manual curators encourage content creators to keep up the good work, help them feel valued and respected, comment, and connect hope with fulfillment.

^...What most authors really want.

Those who don't have the time or ability, auto-vote authors they respect and trust to endorse them, keep them motivated, and encourage growth.

^...The next best thing.

Even better, these legends of genuine curation help content become more visible to create a network effect and display higher value material to improve the experience for others. It's a win-win-win.

In tandem with content creators fueling the material, curators keep our community alive while our technical counterparts develop on our blockchain. I'd love to hear anyone disagree.

If it wasn't for their curation, this place would be a ghost town with an inflationary token racing to $0. The circle-jerks would even need to gradually release from their selfish behavior with nothing left to play with.

Again, not rocket science, but it's important to remember this and prioritize support for our backbone. This place would crumble without it.

And for critics of curation, one can chose to blame the system, self-insulate and wallow, or one can use their Steem Power to keep this place thriving as much as possible until the system is adjusted. I'm all for the latter.
